Pretty sweet skatepark for all levels of skaters and scooter riders. My kids and husband all enjoyed it. I appreciated the graffiti artwork, and grateful to those who tried crossing off the vulgarities....never thought I'd have to explain the meaning of "sell your car for crack" to 7 and 10 yr olds πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Nice park but there is a bit of an issue with the homeless bothering you

Ranney Park is a true hidden gem in Lansing. The winding waterways create a peaceful setting, and the view from the hilltop is especially beautiful.

Beautiful little park nestled in the middle of a big city with a beautiful waterfall. Not 5 star due to what appeard a homeless person living on top of the hill. Very trashy up there.

BIG change in the past year. The skate board park is really dynamic now. Lots of art. Very popular. The tennis court could use some up keep. The ball diamond is well maintained and very pretty. The new water park is amazing. Meditative. Nice wide concrete walkways. You can still run up the hill if you wish but that's a dirt path. I noticed they planted many young trees. It should be an amazing site in a decade or so. For now the water cascade, the flowing streams, the peaceful ponds and the natural grass are so peaceful. Well worth a stop. Ample parking near the ball diamond or at Frandor.
